Wednesday August 17th : black and white

Last week I combined my August Break daily photo with the 52 Photos Project prompt and it worked really well for me, thus I have gone for the double purpose shot again.

This week's theme is black and white. I love the atmosphere of black and white very much, a mixture of moodiness and sophistication with just a hint of mystery. After much consideration I opted for a series of self portraits - a huge leap of faith for me. The thing is that my self confidence plummets into the deep depths when it comes to images of myself, however today I feel brave enough to challenge this perception.

  1. you just have the most wonderful eyes. We really must sort out a photo shoot for you, how about you hop on a train next Tuesday and we do some shots and coffee in Birmingham?

  2. Congrats on stepping outside your comfort level, that is always hard. I hate pictures of myself, hate them. You did a great job, you look very serene and mysterious in your photos.
